Hotel Essen mit Apartments

Positiv: Das Zimmer bzw. das Appartement-Hotel war insgesamt sehr schön und gut gelegen. Es war alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Besonders toll fand ich die Waschmaschinen und Trockner. Vor allem, dass Tabs zur Verfügung standen, war wirklich super. Trotz allem war es ein gelungener Urlaub in einem wirklich schönen Appartement.

Negativ: Was allerdings nicht so schön war – wofür das Hotel jedoch nichts kann – war die Umgebung direkt vor dem Eingang. Dort befindet sich offenbar ein Heroin-Hotspot, und es waren täglich sehr viele merkwürdige Personen vor Ort, die offensichtlich Drogen kauften oder damit handelten. Das war vor allem mit einem 8-jährigen Sohn nicht sehr angenehm.

🌞 Es war nicht nur positiv, es war ausgewöhnlich

Positiv: Im Vorfeld gab es ganz viele ausführliche Informationen zum Einchecken, Codeschlüssel, Parkhinweise, Umgebungskarten und sogar Schleichweg zur Veltinsarena 😉. Habe ich noch nie erlebt, das man so herzlich Erwartet wird. Das Apartmenthotel liegt sehr zentral, keine 5min laufen und schon steht man mitten in der Flaniermeile von Essen. Das Haus selber sauber, gepflegt, wie auch unser Apartment. Ausstattung wie zu Hause mit Spülmaschine incl. Tabs, Backofen, Herd, Kaffeemaschine incl. Pads, Wasserkocher, Töpfe, Pfanne, Geschirr,Kühlschrank, TV.....Alles da, wer hier meckert, dem ist nicht mehr zu helfen. Wir waren zu fünft und alle waren begeistert. ❤️ Dank an Herrn Neumann und sein Team.

Excellent place to stay for business travelers looking for long term accommodation in Essen

Positiv: The property is located a stone's throw away from the activity centre of Essen. Proximity to shops, bars & restaurants was incredible. The apartment itself was very well laid out with everything that one may need for a business or personal visit. The ease of dealing with the host made it even better to stay there. The convenience of having a laundry room was appreciated very much. The apartment is a 11min walk from Essen Hbf on mostly flat land so it was very convenient.

Negativ: The area right outside the building had some shady people on occasion but the host is working with the town council to have this attended to. No issue with safety though.

Perfect hotel - Weird people around

Positiv: The house/building/facilities etc are perfect. Absolutely perfect. 10/10

Negativ: There are weird people hanging around the entrance of the building. Lots of heroin too. The police was there on two occasions. Loud screams and annoying people at night behind the building as well, although it is right by the main market of Essen (which is fantastic) and next door to a bigger hotel with a restaurant etc. Maybe the police should remove those people from there and take them to a park to chill away from people coming to Essen for the first time, because at first it was a bit terrifying.

Wonderful location, appreciated the amenities

Positiv: Very comfy bed, well stocked kitchen, really nice clothes washers and dryers on bottom floor. Excellent location with bus/tram station across the street, and lots of good restaurants and shops all around the area. Really made our stay so stress-free and enjoyable. Manager was very responsive and kind.

Negativ: I can't complain about anything at all. I would stay here again.

No frills but new with all you need

Positiv: Plain and simple, but all you need for a business trip or city vacation. The kitchen was well-stocked and the beds were reasonably comfortable. It had most of the little things that some rooms lack - like a shelf in the shower, a night stand for each bed, plenty of closet space, and in every room both bright overhead lighting and softer lamps.

Negativ: The bathroom was a bit tight, and the shower had a weird roll-down curtain on one side. Because it was hard plastic, it didn't stick to you like a normal shower curtain, which was a plus, but it leaked a lot of water onto the floor. The toilet was oddly placed right next to the shower wall, so you couldn't help but touch the glass with your leg when sitting - yet there was a huge amount of space on the other side of the toilet. But all first-world problems. The sheets might be uncomfortable if you have sensitive skin, and the towels were new but very thin.
